Major glitches with this version. This app used to work well, but now it is useless. For example, when I go to put in the time to convert, it swaps the cities around, deletes cities from my list, and add ones that weren’t there.

please update app
I have used iTimeZone for five years or more. I use it regularly to plan meetings with colleagues in multiple time zones across the world. What time can i plan a meeting that is during business hours in multiple time zones? iTimeZone helps you do this. If you are flying to another city, you can set that city as your current city then enter the time you land and immediately see what time that will translate to in other time zones across the globe. ESSENTIAL!!!
The world clock calculator that is displayed in the photos is not included. This is a basic reproduction of the clock function already included in iOS. Don't waste your money.
support iPhone 5 screen soon? when??
This was one of the best international time keepers available in the store. Seems the Devs forgot to set the clock 😴-----OK, I might have a solution for those having incorrect times (since they aren't working in there app). Force close iTimezone if its open. Go into settings, general time/date. Toggle your iDevice time to set manually. Close Settings and open iTimezone. The times should be correct. Mine were corrected on a 4s running current iOS. Go back to settings, general, time/date and re enable automatic setting. Go back and ensure iTimezone is displaying the correct times.
simple and effective
Just make it 99 cents the most!!!
Like other comments below, I used to use this app a lot. Current version doesn't work. Anybody home?
iTimeZone has things to recommend it, but it also has a significant bug that prevents it from achieving its potential. If you've selected a city to calculate time with that is across the international dateline from your actual location, the day/date shown on the date/time selection wheel reflects the day for your current, physical location, rather than the city selected. When you tap the "close" button, the app then calculates the wrong day for all cities in the list. For example, I'm in the MST time-zone (Denver, CO). It's Monday, 4/25. I've been told that I have a meeting with someone in Seoul, South Korea on Wed., 4/27 at 9:30AM their time. I double-tap on Seoul in the list, moving it to the top and making it the active city. I tap the time button, use the wheels to select Wed., 4/27 at 9:30AM, then tap close. The app then calculates the times incorrectly, displaying the time/date of my meeting in Seoul as THURS., 4/28 at 9:30AM, and time in Denver as WED., 4/27 at 6:30PM. The time of day is correct, but the day of the week is completely wrong - it should be Wed. in Seoul and Tues. in Denver. If I do this calculation the other way, working with the time in Denver (my physical location) instead, it can do it properly.
Don't waste your money on this one!
Previous version is better. Time comparison has a bug showing 1 day back.
Nice and simple. I work with people around the world and bring able to check the time in a remote location in the future us a great help in planning virtual meetings
This App works great to convert future date/time in another time zone to my time zone. My daughter is traveling over seas, and this helps me make simple and easy time conversions. Something I could do with simple math... but now "there's an app for that!" On the negative side, the time setting wheel is not obvious. If I had not read Dave Murdock's response to whitenoise, I might have been really frustrated. Thanks!
Since the most recent update I can no longer change the time to see the effect on other time zones (for meetings and such). I don't know if its hidden somewhere, a bug, or just a dumb decision to limit the functionality of the app. Too bad. I liked this app before now I have to look for another one.
Used to be a great App. It simply doesn't work anymore.
Well, just wasted 1.99 on another app that can't deliver. Don't let the price fool you into thinking this will be better than the .99 apps of the same nature. It's not. It is very weak in finding cities I kept getting city not found on most cities. Even some major cities. Don't waste your money. This app doesn't deliver. Well unless you live in Tokyo, Melbourne, Chicago, or New York and want to know the time of one of those places.
On the East Coast and Melbourne Australia still shows the same day when it's tomorrow? Support people don't seem on the ball
iTimeZone is nothing like it says. Not only could it not locate me in LOS ANGELES. It also did not have Paris or London in its database...what are you guys selling???
I downloaded this app on Monday and have tried to use it several times since I downloaded it. I couldn't get it to find any cities. I used to location feature and it couldn't find my location (I was in Jacksonville, FL at the time). I assumed Jacksonville would be a large enough city that it would be available on the app, but I thought that I could have been wrong-- so I used the search function to search for Orlando, FL (which could also not be found) so then I tried New York, NY which I'm sure it on there! But again, the city could not be found. I kept trying to use the app because my husband was travelling to several countries in latin america and I was also travelling, so I thought the app would make it easier to know what time it was where he was. It finally did find my location the next day (when I was in Gainesville, FL), but I still couldn't get it to find any of the places my husband was... or ANY other place for that matter! I still couldn't get New York or anywhere else!
This is a really good product does pretty much what you need it to, the only small thing that is holding it back, and developers please can you take a look at it. If there is a city thatI just want to quickly see the time I to actually add it to the main screen to see the current time it would be easier if when I search for the city and look at the detail it shows me the current time on the information screen as it seems pretty silly to have to add a city just to do a quick look up.
I am not much on writing reviews but this is a handy application. Great for the traveler.
I've tried many world clocks, but this one is very easy to use and also allows you to plan and figure out times in the future. You can not only see the current time in other chosen cities, but easily change your current timezone when you are traveling and see the time at home (and other places). Very useful is the planning function, so when your colleague in Tokyo suggests a conference call at 7 AM local time two days later, you can figure out what time (and date) that will be in your time zone. Pushing "Now" instantly takes you back to te current time. Brilliant!
New update needed for last poorly released update. This was a great app before this aggravation.
I am not sure what's the point of a world time clock that gives incorrect times. In my instance the devolper hasn't even deigned to respond or update the program. Don't waste your money.
The latest version crashes on startup. I have not been able to use it since the update.
It does exactly what I need. I mainly use the "location time" when I travel because the iPhones built in clock (network time) just dosnt work. It feels like that this app was made just for me ;) Highly recommended.
This app is easy to use and does exactly what I need it to do in order to help setup global meetings with participants from different time zones!!! I'll give it 5 stars when it has a prettier interface.
I often need to arrange conversations with associates in multiple cities in Europe and Asia. Purchased this app which functionally is ok because it gives the time in multiple places but the time setting component takes up half the screen leaving space to see the time in only a handful of cities without scrolling. Later came across TimeScroller where I can in one glance see the time in all 8 of the cities where my company has offices. The time adjustment bar there takes up no more than an eighth of the screen down at the bottom. While both programs can get the job I need done TimeScroller was a better executed solution for me.
My Treo 650 had a built in timezone calculator that I used all the time. When I switched to my iPhone I missed having one. I've been searching this entire time and had been very disappointed by the timezone apps I had found until now. This has everything I need plus it uses standard iPhone controls so it's easy to use. I was concerned at first because I could not figure out how to change the default "top city" but through trial and error found out you can do this by double clicking any of your city names in the list on the bottom. Once I discovered this I had to write a review!!
Great product. You can easily translate times from your city to the client's or vice versa. Intuitive and easy to use. You double tap a city to make it your base city, which is then listed at the top, so you can't forget your current base when you return to the program. It is also daylight savings time savy. My only suggestion would be to include, in the city information, the days when the location goes on and off daylight savings.
Very easy to use and great added feature with the google map intergration :)
Need to add an ability to set it to 12 or 24 clock.
Nice app
I love this App!!! You should to buy this App if you need to know the time anywhere in the world. It is SO much better than the one that comes with the iPhone. You can dial in the time in your area and the current time in your selected cities will show up. Also, if you need to call someone at 2 PM in Singapore, you can dial it in and it will show you the time at home that you need to place the call. The program takes into consideration daylight savings time. It is very easy to use and you don’t have to keep doing the calculations in your head to determine the time. Please disregard previous reviews. They were written before the updates. You can definitely change the default city…just double tap on any city in your selected list and it will become the default city. Also, you now have a much larger selection of cities to choose from. This is really one of the best Apps that I have and I use it almost every day. Do not hesitate to buy it! I contacted the developer to ask a question and he responded ASAP…very impressive. Note: You should update your iPhone to OS 2.2.1
The iTouch clock even includes Tunis. It is after all a national capital. Not finding my first entry is disappointing.
Works as expected.
This is a simple appplication but extremely useful if you coordinate meetings or work with people in multiple time zones. One cick and everything you need to know is available. I use it daily.
Very handy for scheduling conference calls with team members around the world! One suggestion: After choosing a time, I would like to be see more time zones without scrolling. It would be nice if the time selector dials took less space or would pop up only when you want to use them. Also, I like the country flags when building the list of time zone to track. Too bad they don't show up on the main screen too. That would be cool and add some color! Overall, nice job!
I find this application very handy. I attend a lot of web meetings and the time is annotated by zone (GMT) as opposed to a specific city, are you willing and able to add the zones in your next update? Thank you for the app!
Great app except that the only way to change your default location is to delete and re-install the app. Add a way to change the default location and it gets 5 stars.
I have need to set up meeting and computer back ups around the world. This is a great tool.
Makes conference calls a breeze. Just wish I had this when I was living in Europe a few years ago!
It took a while to mature but from the last update this app is just about perfect. Well done!
I think this is very useful for travelers, but how come I can never change the default city! It will not be of much use when I travel to another city and not able to plan ahead. I hope this will be fixed shortly.
I'm editing my previous review because of the last update. I have no complaints about this app now. Aside from having to wait 4+ months for major cities to be added, I'll let it slide & rate based on the current product. It's nice to have. Thanks.
Very useful. Interface is clean and intuitive. Only limitation is not enough locations, although a lot of the more common spots are selectable. If you deal with peeps internationally, this app will keep you moving along great.
This is one of the most valuable iPhone app for me. As you know, iPhone's default clock shows current time and date in various locations. But when I want to know the time in other countries at specific time in my city, I have to do the complicated math in my head... And I found this iTimeZone. It works like a charm. I've just bought it a few days ago, and I already cannot do my job without it. Every day I work closely with offices scattered around the world, and I was having a hard time to figure out "what time should I start a conference call with NY, Paris and Beijing without forcing everybody to attend the call at ridiculous time?" But since I obtained iTimeZone, voila! I can find an appropriate time window in a few seconds. Dear developer, thank you very very much for creating iTimeZone. In the future version though, please let me change the current location instantly, so that I can find time and date in city X relative to a city other than my current location. Also, as other reviewers pointed out, please embed iTimeZone's own list of cities, instead of using iPhone's incomplete city list.
This App works great. But why in the world did you leave out Beijing. I travel a lot and work in Beijing. And now with the Olympics, the whole world is watching Beijing. With all the obscure cities you have listed, you couldn't include Beijing?
